In the case of books by Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart, what you're seeing is more like a sculpture than a piece of card. ― Junior

This amazing pop-up book features more than 35 pop-ups and contains all the information any budding (or even grown-up!) Dinosaur enthusiast could hope for. ― Publishing News

Encyclopedia Prehistorica: Dinosaurs is a quality pop-up book packed with detailed information which will appeal to dino-mad boys. ― The Bookseller

A visual treat as 35 dinosaurs of all sizes and in all colours pop up explosively from the pages ... Dinosaurs is fun just to open and be awed by, but the information makes it a book to spend a lot of time over, too. ― The Guardian

Another fantastic pop-up book from Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart...superbly illustrated and a must for dinosaur fans everywhere. ― The Good Book Guide

Robert Sabuda turns pop-up books into an art form ... prehistoric monsters rear off the pages, quivering with life; the tyrannosaurus's rasping paper even sounds like a roar ... Matthew Reinhart's scholarly but accessible snippets of text make every reader a dinosaur buff. Will be greeted with a 'Wow!' ― The Sunday Times

These books are amazing both in terms of the level of detail that they go into, and the paper engineering, which is very, very clever. Compared to other pop-up books they aren't any more expensive, but the quality is far superior. Besides the materials and construction, the other thing that these books do well is the 'secondary event' - there is always another level to discover ... ― Blueprint

The best - amazingly intricate. ― Sunday Express magazine

One of two children's books featured in a 'guide for clued-up giving': An amazing, authoritative compendium crammed with new info on dinosaurs. ― The Observer

The best pop-up book I've seen this year ... Monsters lunge off every page ... with ferocious energy. Ideal for 4+. ― The Times

A large, colourful and ingeniously constructed dinosaur stands out on every spread. -- Nicolette Jones ― The Sunday Times
